Tact Labs · TikTak
Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
TikTak is operated by Tact Labs. This policy explains the information we process when you use TikTak and how to contact us about it.
Information we collect
Account information includes your name, email address, password credentials, profile details and account settings. We also process content and activity you provide, including videos, camera photos, Story text, comments, reactions, follows, saved posts, messages, reports and appeals. We retain moderation decisions and records of agreement to our terms. Session information can include IP address, browser details and session tokens. Hosting and delivery providers may process request and security logs.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and features, deliver content, enable conversations, enforce community rules, investigate reports, protect users and the service, and administer TikTak. Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Your browser asks for camera access when you choose to create a camera Story; the app captures a photo when you select the capture control.
What other people can see
Your profile and content are visible according to your privacy settings and access controls. Public content may be viewed and shared by others. Private-account content is restricted to approved followers, subject to blocking and moderation. Messages are available to their participants and may be reviewed by staff in connection with reports.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Hostinger for server hosting and Neon for the PostgreSQL database. Requests through tiktaklol.vercel.app are delivered through Vercel. These providers process information to provide their services. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect people or the service, or in connection with a business transfer.
Retention and your choices
Stories stop being available to viewers after 24 hours. The app removes expired Story files when people subsequently load the Stories section. Other information may be retained as needed to operate the service, enforce rules, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Copies in logs or backups, if any, may persist longer.
You can update your profile and privacy settings in TikTak. To request access, correction or deletion of information, contact tactlabs@proton.me. Your rights depend on applicable law.
Children
TikTak is intended for people aged 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to TikTak, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide notice where required.
